Proud to have contributed as the Sound Designer for BAYAAN a film that garnered international recognition with official selections at the Toronto International Film Festival ,(TIFF)and the Busan International Film Festival, and went on to win the Best Feature Film Award at the Sundar Prize Film Festival.
I had the opportunity to work on the Sound Design and Mix for J, a short film directed by Rafael Stemplewski. The film received official selections at numerous film festivals across the country and went on to win several awards.
I had the privilege of working as the Sound Design and Mix for a beautiful Odiya film "BINDUSAGAR" which has been officially selected for the 56th International Film Festival of India (IFFI) 2025, marking an important milestone in my creative journey.
I had the privilege of working on the Sound Design and Mix for The Last Meal, a short film portraying the final days of the legendary Bhagat Singh in prison. The film was screened at film festivals across the globe and received widespread recognition, including the Best Short Film Award at the Washington DC South Asian Film Festival. Being associated with this project was a deeply meaningful experience and an opportunity to contribute to a powerful historical narrative through sound.

ABOUT ME
Hi, I’m Pragyan Gogoi,Sound Designer, Sound Editor,Film Mix Engineer in the Indian film industry, dedicated to crafting exceptional, industry-standard audio that enhances storytelling. With meticulous attention to detail and innovative techniques, I ensure that each project enhances the narrative and captivates audiences.
Some of my early notable works as a sound editor includes URI: The Surgical Strike, Sanju, and Padmaavat, which helped establish my footing in the industry. My contribution as a Sound Editor to the film Thappad (directed by Anubhav Sinha) earned the prestigious Filmfare Award for Sound in 2020, while Anek was nominated for Filmfare in 2023. Additionally I've had the priviIege of working as a sound editor for Three of Us, which received a Filmfare nomination in 2024.
My work extends to the digital space with celebrated series like Aarya (Hotstar) Trial by Fire (Netflix) Paatal Lok Season 2 (Amazon Prime) . Looking ahead, Kohrra Season 2 (Netflix) stands as another exciting venture.
